Probably the best framework-specific book I’ve ever read.
Leaving aside the silly name for a minute, I just can’t abide the logo for MobileMe. It looks as if the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man took a nap in a pile of Apple applications, and then tried to decorate it with blue cake frosting. And I’m not the only one who thinks it looks, if not hideous, at least well below par by Apple’s standards.
Blogger Dr. Macenstein immediately pointed out the conspicuous similarities between MobileMe and Microsoft’s Windows Me logo. Gawker said the MobileMe design looks like it should be on a package of cheap Japanese soap. And the Manhattan Offender — after posing the question “Is ‘MobileMe’ the worst logo in the history of the Mac?” — described it as the “poor cousin of the Intel logo.”
I don’t know if it’s the worst ever, but it’s gotta be in the top three. Come on, Apple — we know you can do better.
